The new 2007 California Building Code (CBC) is now making its way into practice and the California Geological Survey (CGS) has updated the Note 48 checklist to reflect changes in the code. Anne Rosinski, Senior Engineering Geologist for CGS, presented CGS note 48 guidelines for geologic studies at our Regional Meetings in the fall of 2007.
