Outstanding Project Awards
Every year, at our Annual Conference, CGEA gives an award to the most Outstanding Project of the year. Our members submit their project(s) for consideration a few months prior to the conference date. Our Immediate Past President heads a committee of three that judge each project based on established criteria.
Once a decision has been made, all firms are notified. The prestigious award is presented at a special luncheon during the conference. A beautiful trophy is presented to the winner(s). On occasion, there may also be a Honorary Mention winner or a Small Budget winner. All winning firms are presented with a trophy for their office. The winning projects are also publicized in our newsletter, the Geogram, and posted on our web site.
