This employment-opportunities section allows you to view ads that member firms or individuals have posted. It also allows you to place your own ad on-line. Just click on the "Place an Advertisement" button at the left side of this page. Anyone may view the ads. CGEA charges a nominal fee of $40 to place a "help wanted" ad. People looking for employment may place one ad at no charge. (We accept ads from individuals who are looking for employment within the geotechnical industry; you do not have to be currently employed with a member firm.) CGEA will run your ad for a period of one month. At the end of that period your ad will be removed unless you advise us to continue your listing. There is no charge for the extended listing as long as we are notified prior to the end of your original one month listing.

Please note that we only accept "help wanted" advertising from member firms who are currently members in good standing with CGEA. We do not accept any type of advertising from non-member firms or from employment agencies.

Senior Geotechnical Engineer (3/25/08)
Wallace-Kuhl & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to be part of our well established and respected engineering company. This Senior Geotechnical Engineer position will provide the opportunity for office management. We also have offices located in West Sacramento, Rocklin and Stockton, California.

We have been providing consulting engineering and testing services since 1984 on a wide variety of geotechnical projects. We now employ a staff of over 200 employees, including engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, field technicians, and support personnel. We are seeking talented engineers that want to be a part of our great team.

Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Supervise project and staff engineers and engineering geologists conducting geotechnical engineering investigations. Provide support for earthwork construction inspections. Prepare proposals for geotechnical investigations and earthwork construction inspections.

Requirements: B.S. in civil engineering and PE registration required, MS preferred. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering and project management. Candidates must possess strong written skills. Clean DMV report a must.
